NOTE:  A minimum of 2 nights stay is required.  

Due to the presence of a deep pond, please no children under 16 years of age unless with express advance written permission of the owners.

To reserve a retreat at Lone Star, you will be requested to provide valid card details (type, number, expiration date, issue number or "valid from" date and the last 3 digits of the security code shown on the reverse signature strip).  A non-refundable deposit of the cost of the first night’s stay will be charged to the card provided when a booking is made and credit will be verified.  All reservations will be confirmed wihtin 24 hours in writing to either your e-mail address or your postal address.

A minimum of two nights’ stay is required and rates vary between £ 75.00 and £ 125.00 per person per night, according to date, retreat size and occupancy.  Each night’s tariff includes a traditional Scottish breakfast with a refreshingly presented cold and hot buffet as well as our many thoughtful amenities that define the Lone Star service.

About smoking: Lone Star Bed and Breakfast Haven is a complete non-smoking property in accordance with Scottish law.

Guests who indulge in smoking within the interior of Lone Star will be asked to leave.

No refund will be due to the guest on such leaving before the end of the booked stay and a charge of £ 250.00 will be made against the credit card (on file as part of the booking process) to cover additional cleaning and laundry costs incurred by the smoker.

We have a 14 day cancellation policy. 

If you wish to change / amend your reservation, your deposit may be transferred to a future booking provided we are given fourteen clear days notice of the change.

If a reserved retreat is cancelled 14 days or less from the due date of arrival, the card provided will be charged with the balance of the cost of the stay.

If all or part of a stay is cancelled after arrival, the full cost of the stay as booked remains payable upon departure.  We remind our guests that exceptions to the above booking, cancellation and deposit conditions will not be made and that bookings made with LSBBH for accommodation (verbal, written or via e-mail) form a legally binding contract.

We have the right to refuse service to anyone and to ask any guest to leave immediately.

We advise guests to consider the purchase of holiday insurance coverage for unforeseen situations that result in cancellation or in the application of any or all the above terms and conditions.

Note: We will try our very best to re-let the retreat, and if we are able to re-let, we will credit your card for the re-let period.

We reserve the right to transfer any guest to another retreat if the reserved retreat is unavailable due to circumstances which are beyond our control.
